Village of Greenhills to Finalize Comprehensive Plan
at Public Hearing on Oct. 27
CINCINNATI - The Village of Greenhills Mayor and Village Council will conduct a Public Hearing to receive public input and for consideration to formally adopt the proposed Comprehensive Plan for the Village on October 27 at 7:00 p.m. at the Greenhills Municipal Building.
Prior to the public hearing, the Mayor and Village Council will hold an "open house" beginning at 6:30 p.m. to have an informal discussion on the proposed Comprehensive Plan and its accompanying documents.
"Greenhills has a promising future ahead. The continued support and participation by the community and its citizens is essential to a sustainable future for the Village. This is a wonderful opportunity for us all to channel our collective energies and work together for the benefit of the Village. The proposed Plan is a great first step in the right direction," said Jane Berry, Greenhills Municipal Manager.
Copies of the proposed Comprehensive Plan are available for the public to view at the Village Municipal Building, the Village of Greenhills Public Library, or on the Village's website at http://www.greenhillsohio.org. Copies will also be available at the Public Hearing and Open House.
The Comprehensive Plan provides a guideline for policy decisions and projects concerning the physical and economic development of the community. It includes objectives, strategies, and a timetable for the future of Greenhills. Items to be discussed include the Village Center, Redevelopment/Economic Development, community life, housing and historic preservation.
