Public Relations Account Manager

O’Keeffe Communications, Inc., a growing full-service public relations and grassroots marketing agency, is looking for a capable and enterprising Public Relations Account Manager who possesses the campaign development and customer service skills to succeed in a competitive environment. The role demands accountability and hands-on management of both new and existing clients and projects in industries ranging from health care, technology and economic development to finance, homebuilding and entertainment. This person must be organized and an exceptional writer. Experience required: 2 to 3 years agency or corporate, or entry level with solid PR/marketing co-op or internship experience.

Disciplines performed by the Account Manager will include:

• -Public Relations
• -Media Relations
• -Community Marketing
• -Writing (news releases, story pitches, articles, website content)
• -Crisis Communication/Management

Responsibilities will include:

• -Management of client expectations
• -Management and execution of projects and project parameters
• -Development and cultivation of media relationships
• -Strengthening and development of existing accounts
• -Coordination of media summaries, media lists, editorial calendars and other administrative functions
• -Updating and periodic administration of O’Keeffe website

Salary: $22,000 - $28,000, based on skills and experience
